Mr Adam Bennett

I am a Consultant Urologist based in the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport. I completed undergraduate training at Cardiff University. My core surgical and specialty urology training was completed in Wales with added experience in the South West and South East of England. My main areas of interest are urological oncology, undertaking radical cystectomy for bladder cancer and open radical nephrectomy for large renal tumours. I am an active member of the urology MDT and manage all urology cancers. I am also the department lead for general paediatric surgery undertaking circumcision, orchidopexy for undescended testes and groin surgery for hydroceles/hernias. Working in a busy secondary care hospital I also manages patients with bothersome urinary symptoms, urinary tract stone disease and infection and all other aspects of general and emergency urology.
