Mr Mohan Krishna Pullagura

I am a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon, with a specialised practice in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the shoulder, elbow and hand. I have undertaken advanced Fellowship training in shoulder and upper limb surgery. I am referred complex upper limb injuries such as shoulder and elbow dislocations and fractures involving proximal and distal humerus by my orthopaedic colleagues. I aim to provide treatment options tailored to individual circumstances of each patient with a team based approach involving physiotherapy and radiology colleagues. I am involved in various leadership roles including being the infection prevention and control lead for the NHS Trust.

I treat most of the shoulder conditions using latest arthroscopic surgery including frozen shoulder, dislocating shoulders, sports injuries, rotator cuff tears, arthritis and AC joint problems. I perform nerve decompressions around elbow, wrist and treat common tendon problems such as tennis and golfer’s elbow. I have recently published my work on distal biceps tendon rupture repairs. I perform hand procedures such as trigger finger releases, De Quervain's tenosynovitis, Dupuytren’s contracture release.
