I qualified in Medicine from the University of Wales and undertook Orthopaedics training in Birmingham. Following completion of my Orthopaedic training I undertook a Fellowship in Knee surgery in Nottingham. I am on the GMC Specialist Register for Trauma and Orthopaedics I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association. I practice in the NHS and Private sector. My practice is that of lower limb surgery predominately of hip and knee replacement surgery. I have published outcome measures in the National Joint Registry which indicate my operative performance and success of the replaced joints. I have extensive experience at teaching Junior surgeons, have 12 years experience of being Clinical lead Orthopaedics in my NHS practice. I undertake Medico legal work and the Medical reports prepared conform to the Part 35 directive standards( England and Wales) for Clinical experts.
