Mr. Mohammed Mahmoud is an experienced Consultant Urological Surgeon with over 21 years of experience in the field. He is a consultant Urologist and Andrologist at Chelsea Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where he serves as a clinical lead of Andrology and Male Infertility. He was appointed as Associate Professor of Urology and Andrology at Sohag University, Egypt before moving to the UK in 2021. Mr. Mahmoud foundations were built at Sohag University Hospital, Egypt, where he graduated in Medicine and earned both his Master’s and MD degrees in Urology. His MD degree was a joint academic and clinical work between Egypt and University College London. After completion of his MD degree, he was appointed as a consultant urologist in 2016. His pursuit of surgical excellence led him to the prestigious University College London (UCLH), where he completed two fellowships in the Andrology and male Infertility between 2020 to 2022. This was followed by achieving the fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Urology), the gold standard qualification for surgical practice in the UK. Mr. Mahmoud has an international academic and research profile in andrology and male genital reconstruction. His work includes publishing in peer-reviewed journals, presenting at international conferences, reviewing for academic journals, and supervising postgraduate urology trainees undertaking Master’s and MD degrees. Areas of Expertise While maintaining a robust practice in general urology and urological cancer diagnosis, Mr. Mahmoud is a dedicated specialist in male sexual and reproductive health. His surgical repertoire includes: * Male Infertility: Surgical sperm retrieval, microsurgical varicocele repair, reversal of vasectomy and surgical treatment of obstructive azoospermia (No sperms). * Penile Reconstruction: Expertise in the Nesbit procedure and other corrective surgeries for Peyronie’s disease and curvature. Penile skin reconstruction and revision of circumcision. * Andrology: Comprehensive management of erectile dysfunction, penile implants, hypogonadism (low testosterone) and ejaculatory dysfunction. * Surgical management of testicular tumours and cancers. * Stone Disease: Minimally invasive management of kidney and ureteric stones. * General Urology: Penoscrotal procedures as circumcision, hydrocele, Epididymal cysts excision and vasectomy for contraception. * Medical and Endoscopic treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms in men and women including surgeries for large prostate.
