Mr Mohammed Bahgat

Mr Bahgat is a full-time ENT consultant at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough with a super-speciality interest in advanced sinus surgery and facial plastics surgery. In addition to his expertise in rhinology and facial plastic surgery, Mr Bahgat treats general ENT conditions including snoring, tinnitus, dizziness, ear infections, voice change and globus symptoms. He performs routine ENT procedures such as tonsillectomy and grommet insertion. He is committed to offering patient-centred consultations, providing all the information needed to help patients make informed choices in a friendly and honest way. Special interests After completing his registrar training in the North East (with rotations at RVI, Freeman, Sunderland and James Cook Trusts), Mr Bahgat furthered his expertise by visiting the world's largest skull base centres at UPMC in Pittsburgh, USA, and Varese, Italy. During these visits, he learned from leading endoscopic sinus and skull base surgeons globally. Mr Bahgat has worked extensively with GPs, lecturing in local educational meetings. He has delivered multiple presentations on the diagnosis and management of different ENT conditions including allergic rhinitis (or as commonly known as hay fever) with the use of allergy testing for better control of the condition.
