Dr Mohammad Naveed Sarwar

Dr Naveed Sarwar BSc MBBS MRCP PhD Consultant Medical Oncologist and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer  Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Dr Naveed Sarwar was appointed to Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in 2014 to lead the Medical Oncology group, in the treatment of urological cancers, having previously been a Consultant at Barts Health NHS trust since 2008. He has a special interest in the management of Genito-urinary cancers (prostate, kidney, and bladder). He is a member of the Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC) for bladder cancer. Dr Sarwar is very actively involved in clinical trial research leading a spectrum of clinical studies from phase II to randomised Phase III in Urological cancers. He is the lead for urological medical oncology at Charing Cross Hospital, and the research lead for the treatment of urological cancers within NW Thames network. He has co-authored papers on urological cancers in peer-reviewed journals.
