Special clinical interests
Specialist in both simple and complex cataract surgery (including toric and multifocal lens implants) and glaucoma management. I have performed over 20,000 cataract operations over the past 20 years. I completed my medical and ophthalmology specialist training at the University of Cape Town, attaining my FCOpth(SA) degree and GMC Specialist Registration in Ophthalmology (2004). Currently I am a Specialist at the Lancashire Eye Centre and member of leading bodies including the UK & Eire Glaucoma Society and European Glaucoma Society.
