Dr Mitra Shahidi

I trained as a doctor in Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, University of London. I qualified in 1993. My postgraduate training as a Respiratory Physician was in the South West Thames Deanery. During my postgraduate training I spent time at the Royal Brompton Hospital and St George's Hospital Tooting and many busy district general hospitals in the SW thames region. I carried out research in Tuberculosis. My subspecialty interest is in Tuberculosis, Bronchiectasis and Respiratory Infections, but i am trained and experienced in all aspects of respiratory medicine. I am married with 2 children and live in Buckinghamshire.

I am the Buckinghamshire Lead for Respiratory Infections and Tuberculosis I am the Associate Medical Director for Quality & Patient Safety at Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust
