Miss Ms Fiona Court

Fiona has wide experience of all modern cosmetic, oncoplastic and reconstructive breast techniques, including minimally invasive techniques, fat grafting, implant surgery, breast reduction and breast uplift, the use of breast implants, expanders and acellular dermal matrices. She has extensive experience in diagnostic breast procedures including breast ultrasound scan diagnosis and biopsy.  She qualified as an Oncoplastic Breast consultant in 2009 after 11 years training as a surgeon. One of the first trainees to be awarded a National Oncoplastic Fellowship, Fiona trained with Plastic reconstruction surgeons in Newcastle in 2007. She has also been awarded the BASO Donald McNeill Oncoplastic Travelling Fellowship in 2010, travelling to Japan to learn new techniques. In 2017 she was awarded a prestigious Royal College of Surgeons Estelle Wolfson Emerging Leaders Fellowship. Fiona has contributed as a breast expert on Channel 4's Embarrassing Bodies and has been quoted on breast related topics in both National and local newspapers. Fiona was asked by The Department of Health to edit the NHS Choices breast implant patient information webpage. Along with her colleagues Charlie Chan and James Bristol, Fiona was one of the first surgeons in the UK to train in and offer the innovative cosmetic breast lift technique using BREFORM. Fiona regularly presents her data at national meetings and publishes in journals.
