Mr Mishank Jain

Mr Mishank Jain is a dual fellowship-trained Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in advanced cataract surgery and complex glaucoma management. Known for his calm, reassuring, and patient-centered communication style, Mr Jain is dedicated to delivering precise, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's visual needs. He graduated from University College London (UCL) and completed his specialist ophthalmic training on the highly competitive North Thames rotation, predominantly based at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital and the Western Eye Hospital. He subsequently completed two prestigious, advanced surgical fellowships in glaucoma at both institutions. Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Jain is heavily involved in surgical innovation, research, and medical education, serving as a lecturer at the University of Surrey Medical School. He is widely recognized for introducing cutting-edge glaucoma filtration devices to his NHS Trust and was awarded the Imperial College Ophthalmic Research Group Gold Medal for his clinical research.
