Mr Michael Edwards qualified from Sheffield University Medical School in 1982. Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1989. Post graduate training in Orthopaedic Surgery University of Oxford from 1990 to 1998. Full time in Clinical Research at Nuffield Department of Orthopaedic Surgery before entering the Orthopaedic Surgical training scheme and achieving Intercollegiate Fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons(Orth) in 1997. Subspecialty training in Hand Surgery and Lower Limb Surgery. Appointed to substantive post as Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in 1998.
He is now based at The Claremont and Thornbury Hospitals in Sheffield.
