Neurology - Peripheral Nerve Disorders
Professor Lunn is fully trained in all aspects of Neurology and will happily review and investigate almost any neurological problem to diagnosis and treatment. It is sometimes approrpriate to refer patients on to more specialised services for complex diagnostics, advanced therapy, surgery or access to restricted medications. Professor Lunn specialist interest is in peripheral erve disease and in particular inflamamtory and immunological disease of the peripheral nerves and neurology linked to haematology. This includes differential diagnosis of disease mimics. However his expertise is broad and covers much of neurology in this context. Most work can be done as an out-patient but small numbers of patients require daycase or short in-patient stays for investigation or management. Occasionally a referral to an alternative provider strategies is necessary. Professor Lunn is unable to offer an emergency or on-call service because of other commitments but will do his best to see patients in a timely fashion as far as is possible.
