GMC reg: 3342442Michael Jenkins qualified from UCL in 1989 as the Broderip Scholar. He undertook surgical training in London at the Royal Brompton, Royal Marsden, Charing Cross, UCL and Royal Free hospitals and gained FRCS with the Gold medal. He was appointed to Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon in 2002 and is based at St Mary’s Hospital with a tertiary referral practice in complex aortic disease. Currently, he is the Frank Penman Professor of Surgery and Clinical Director of AAA screening in London. He was the inaugural Director of Trauma at the time of MTC designation and is a past President of the British Society of Endovascular Therapy (BSET), past Chair of the Circulation Foundation and past President of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland.
