I qualified MBBS from University of London (Imperial College, St Mary’s Hospital) in 1995 and trained in as a specialist in children’s allergy and immunology in Southampton and Bristol. I have a holistic approach to children’s care and have studied homeopathic medicine. I was a general paediatrician for 10 years in Southampton and served as hospice doctor at the regional children’s hospice between 2017-22. I have a postgraduate teaching portfolio with Southampton Allergy MSc and Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. My current research includes use of peanut immunotherapy and I lead the national registry for allergen immunotherapy on behalf of BSACI.

Paediatrics - Paediatric Immunology & Allergy
I have specialist interests in food allergy immunotherapy, food allergies, milk allergy in infants, egg allergy, peanut allergy and nut allergy and anaphylaxis, multiple complex severe food allergy, food protein induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES), eczema, asthma, severe hay fever, urticaria, hives and swelling. I can perform same day skin prick testing to diagnose allergies in clinic and have access to a range of modern allergy blood tests for more complex presentations as well as a private food challenge service. I offer allergen immunotherapy to pollens and dust mites for severe hay fever. I lead a team of doctors and nurses providing food allergy immunotherapy to peanut and a rnage of other foods.
