Dr Matthew Wireko

Dr. Matthew Wireko, has MBchB FRCP (Edin) and FRCP (UK). I have been trained in the field of Gastroenterology including therapeutic endoscopy, Nutrition and hepatology. I had my Specialist Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine Rotation at the East midlands Deanery in the United Kingdom, rotating through Nottingham University Hospital, Derby Royal Hospital and Chesterfield Royal Hospital. I have advanced endoscopy fellowship qualification from the Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust in the United Kingdom.  I have previously worked as a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist in the Department of Gastroenterology at the Sherwood Forrest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust ,in Sutton-in -Ashfield. I have done numerous diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures across various NHS hospitals and private hospitals in the UK. I have wide experience in the management of a wide range of General Gastroenterology conditions including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), peptic ulcer disease , irritable bowel syndrome ( IBS) , upper and lower gastrointestinal bleeding disorders. I am very experienced and fully accredited in diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy, colonoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy and other endoscopic procedures.
