Dr Marzena Raszewska-Steglinska graduated from medical school in 1991 at the Medical University in Lodz, Poland and completed her speciality training in ophthalmology in 2009. She has over 12 years’ experience working as an ophthalmologist and has a special interest in cataract and oculoplastic surgery. From May 2009 until August 2018 Dr Raszewska-Steglinska was working in a regional hospital in Piotrków as a consultant in ophthalmology. She also worked in a private clinic in Lódz, where she performed cataract surgery. Dr Raszewska-Steglinska was also a consultant in Bieganski University Teaching Hospital in Lódz and in Pulmonary and Respiratory Diseases Hospital in Lódz, where she reviewed patients with eye symptoms of systemic diseases such as systemic infections in children and adults, and connective tissue diseases.

Dr Raszewska-Steglinska’s work mostly includes cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, and anti-glaucoma treatment. She performs laser therapy in the different eye conditions. Dr Raszewska-Steglinska also spent time working in an A&E ophthalmology unit. From 2011-2012 she worked for Optimax as a refractive surgeon. From 2018-2020 Dr Raszewska-Steglinska completed an oculoplastic fellowship in Royal Free Hospital, London. Dr Raszewska-Steglinska was trained in many different types of eyelid and facial surgery, ranging from simple eyelid malpositions to more complex cases, as well as lacrimal surgeries. Her aim is to provide the best possible outcome for every patient by focusing on each individual’s needs. She prides herself on being attentive to the smallest details.
