I completed my medical education in Turin Italy in 2002. During my medical education I studied as an exchange student at the University of Maastricht in Netherlands and in Sweden University of Linkoping. These early experiences helped me develop an open attitude towards change. I have trained as a registrar in the Leicester rotation. My first fellowship training was at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Newcastle Upon Tyne in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus. The second fellowship was at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital in Adult Strabismus and Paediatric Ophthalmology. I perform a range of ophthalmic surgical procedures ranging from cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange, pterygium removal, childhood lid procedures including treatment for nasolacrimal duct obstruction (tear duct obstruction), squint surgery in children and adults, botulinum toxin for treatment of facial spasms and squints. My hobbies are gardening and classic cars. Most of my free time is taken by my two little daughters who keep me very energetic.
