Mr Marck Van Liefland

Mr van Liefland graduated from the internationally recognised medical school at Leiden, the Netherlands. Following a year of research for his MD at the University of Bonn in Germany, he started his surgical training in the UK. He was awarded a Masters of Science Degree from the University of Cardiff in the field of Biomechanics and Engineering in Orthopaedic Surgery. He is regularly involved in teaching future surgeons. After two posts in Plastic and Hand Surgery he started his orthopaedic speciality training with posts in Cardiff, Swansea and North Wales, followed by two years on the Oswestry Rotation gaining the desired training in his chosen field of interest of Upper Limb Surgery.

Arthritis of the thumb, fingers, elbow and shoulder incl. replacements. Carpal Tunnel, Trigger finger, Dupuytrens correction. Rotator cuff tears and Impingement, shoulder instability. All surgical and non-surgical treatments.
