Dr Manou Manpreet Kaur

Dr Kaur is an experienced Consultant Gynaecologist offering a comprehensive range of surgical techniques, including robotic, laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and open procedures. She manages a broad spectrum of gynaecological conditions, with particular expertise in complex cases such as advanced-stage endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and challenging anatomical presentations like an enlarged uterus or ovarian cysts with adhesions. She also treats conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic inflammatory disease, C-section niche defects, early-stage endometrial cancer, chronic pelvic pain, painful intercourse, and menopause-related symptoms. Dr Kaur completed her medical degree in 2010 at the University of KU Leuven in Belgium. After completing her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and honing her skills in The Netherlands, she went on to deepen her experience in the UK. Over almost five years, she worked within leading centres—including University College London Hospital, The Royal Free Hospital, and The Royal Marsden Hospital—focusing on the multidisciplinary care of women with complex pelvic conditions and implementing cutting-edge technology. Certified as a robotic surgeon by both the Society of European Robotic Gynaecological Surgeons (SERGS) and the British & Irish Association of Robotic Gynaecological Surgeons (BIARGS), Dr Kaur remains at the forefront of surgical innovation. She is a proctor for Intuitive Surgical and serves as invited faculty on national and international gynaecology training programmes. Dr Kaur is known for her thoughtful, patient-centred approach and her commitment to tailoring care to each woman’s individual needs. Fluent in English, Dutch, Punjabi, and Hindi, with a good understanding of Urdu, she fosters a warm and inclusive environment where women from all backgrounds feel supported, understood, and empowered.

Dr Kaur’s special clinical interests include pelvic pain, advanced endometriosis (including diaphragmatic and extra-pelvic disease), fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), menopause, C-section niche repairs, and early stage endometrial cancer. She has particular expertise in minimally invasive surgery (especially Robotic, Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic) for complex pelvic conditions, and is experienced in treating women with pelvic pain, subfertility, challenging anatomy, or co-existing conditions such as pelvic adhesions and ovarian cysts. As part of her commitment to surgical innovation, she was the first surgeon in the UK to perform a Robotic Transabdominal Cerclage (TAC). Dr Kaur is a recognised proctor for Intuitive Surgical and is actively involved in teaching both peers and doctors in training, contributing to national and international surgical education. She is passionate about expanding access to advanced techniques, mentoring the next generation of gynaecological surgeons, and driving forward progress in women’s health.
