Mr Majid Chowdhry

Mr Majid Chowdhry is an experienced and comprehensively trained knee and hip orthopaedic surgeon. His specific area of interest lies in sports' knee injuries, including ACL and complex ligament reconstruction, knee joint preservation, meniscal surgery, and hip and knee replacements. Alongside this, he performs revision hip and knee arthroplasty and fractures of the knee, hip and pelvis. With such a vast range of available surgical skills, Mr Chowdhry can ensure that each patient receives a completely personalised and tailored treatment option. His interest in sports injuries has come from being a keen sportsman himself. He is an honorary lecturer in Sports and Exercise Medicine, and contributes to teaching and research arms. Mr Chowdhry is widely published in orthopaedic literature, and has a focussed area of interest in the epidemiology of sport knee injuries. He has a Masters in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery.
