I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in cataract and glaucoma surgery, with particular expertise in complex cataract surgery and the surgical management of glaucoma. I graduated from South Valley University in 2002 and undertook my higher specialist training in ophthalmology in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Cambridge University Hospitals. I subsequently completed a Senior Fellowship in Glaucoma and Complex Cataract Surgery at the prestigious Western Eye Hospital in London. My advanced fellowship training provided extensive experience in the assessment and management of glaucoma, including modern surgical treatments, as well as complex and challenging cataract surgery. I am committed to providing patients with individualised, evidence-based care, taking time to explain the available treatment options and helping each patient choose the approach most appropriate for their needs.
