Dr Sinha has trained in gastroenterology and general internal medicine. She undertook her clinical training in the North West Deanery. During this training, she developed experience in the management of general and complex diseases in gastroenterology. Dr Sinhas’ current post includes the management of inpatients and outpatients with acute, chronic and complex gastroenterology disorders. She performs gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy. Dr Sinha led the expansion of the capsule endoscopy service and has introduced colon capsule endoscopy and pan enteric capsule in addition to small bowel capsule endoscopy at Barking, Havering & Redbridge NHS Trust. Dr Sinha is the Chair of the Small Bowel & Nutrition Committee at the British Society of Gastroenterology. She is also: - Committee member of the Gastroduodenal Committee at the British Society of Gastroenterology - Committee Member of Royal College of Physicians Committee in Medical Ethics In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, yoga, reading and long walks.
Dr Sinha has a subspecialty interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Dyspepsia, GORD, and Coeliac Disease. Her specialities also include Colonoscopy, Gastroscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy.
