Current appointment: 2008- present Consultant breast and reconstructive surgeon (substantive via CCT route) West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust I Qualified in Medicine from University of Wales and commenced training in general, trauma and plastic surgery in South Wales. This was followed by Higher surgical training in General surgery in the Northwest Thames program  with subspecialty training in breast and endocrine surgery at Hammersmith and Royal Marsden Hospitals. National Oncoplastic Fellowship Award 2007 The Association of Breast Surgeons (ABS) with the British Association of Plastic Surgeons (BAPS) successfully petitioned the Department of Health to fund nine training posts for the purpose of creating properly trained Breast Reconstructive Surgeons. These National posts are funded centrally and meet the requirements of the Specialist Advisory Committee in both General and Plastic Surgery. I was awarded, by competitive entry to this prestigious fellowship based at the Royal Hospital Haslar, Portsmouth where I trained intensively in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery techniques. I have been a consultant surgeon for more than 16 years and my practice encompass surgical treatment of breast cancer, benign breast disease, congenital conditions of the breast, oncoplastic breast surgery and breast reconstructive surgery. I am a core member of breast multidisciplinary teams in West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust and Spire Bushey Hospital.
