Trained in Ophthalmology initially in India and underwent further Specialist training in the UK. I have been working as a Consultant in the NHS since 2010. My area of specialization in Ophthalmology is oculoplastics and lacrimal surgery. I also have significant experience in high volume cataract surgery including implantation of special lenses and complicated cataract management.I have wide experience in surgery of eyelid and brow malposition, lid reconstruction, lacrimal or watery eyes procedures, socket surgery and destructive surgery like eye removal. A significant part of my NHS practice includes management of skin cancers on and around the eyelids and reconstruction of these areas. I am also experienced in managing Thyroid eye disease and a range of complex socket problems.
