Mr Konstantinos Giannouladis

Mr. Konstantinos Giannouladis is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon specializing in glaucoma and cataract surgery . Education & Training : He earned his medical degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and trained in ophthalmology across the East Midlands (2009-2017) . In 2017 , he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) and was added to the GMC Specialist Register for Ophthalmology . Fellowship & Early Consultant Roles : He undertook a Senior Glaucoma Fellowship at Birmingham Midland Eye Centre (2017-2018) before securing a Consultant Ophthalmologist post at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham (2018-2022) , where he developed expertise in complex cataract and glaucoma surgery . Leadership & Service Development : He served as Cataract Service Lead (2020-2022) and later as Head of Ophthalmology Service (2021-2022) at Queen’s Medical Centre. During this time, he was also Ophthalmology Research Support Lead (2020-2022) , contributing to several clinical studies.

Cataract Surgery : Expertise in Toric and Premium IOL implants , as well as complex cataract surgery . Glaucoma Management & Surgery : Comprehensive care, including MIGS procedures ( iStent, Ab interno Canaloplasty (AbiC), OMNI, Preserflo, GATT ), traditional glaucoma surgeries ( trabeculectomy, Baerveldt and PAUL glaucoma drainage implants ), and laser treatments ( Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) and Cyclodiode laser ).
