Mr Kevin Tsang

I graduated from Guy's and St Thomas' medical school in 2004 and trained in the South-West of England in neurosurgery before taking up a post as a consultant at Imperial College in 2014. My main clinical subspecialties include major trauma, CSF disorders, craniofacial pathology and spinal conditions. I work with experts in neuroradiology, plastics, maxillofacial, ophthalmic and ENT disciplines to ensure a multi-disciplinary and holistic approach to patient care. As part of my NHS job, I am the Major Trauma Director for St Mary's Hospital and also the Chair for the Neurosurgery Specialty Advisory Committee (SAC) which governs all of training in the UK and Ireland. I have been awarded the educational and clinical supervisor of the year on several occasions. I also work as a trauma surgeon for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as a voluntary craniofacial surgeon for the charity Facing the World in Vietnam and as a neurosurgical advisor to Op-RESTORE, a charity focused on current and veteran soldiers. My academic and research areas correlate with my clinical expertise above and I have published many papers and helped developed many local and regional guidelines.
