Dr Kathleen Goodchild

I am currently the Co-Chair of the London Clinic thyroid multidisciplinary meeting and a member of the London Clinic head and neck multidisciplinary meeting.  I deliver systemic therapies at the London Clinic and also at Circle Bishopswood where appropriate.  Radiotherapy is delivered at the London Clinic. Radioactive iodine for thyroid cancer and benign thyroid disease is administered at the London Clinic. I trained in Clinical Oncology at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre/Charing Cross hospital and UCLH, gaining FRCR in 1995 and becoming a Consultant in 2000 at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre specialising in Head and neck and Thyroid cancer.  I was the Lead for Head and Neck Cancer research at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre until 2016 and recruited patients into multiple clinical trials. I undergo annual Appraisal through Circle Connected doctors.

I undertake the delivery of Radiotherapy (IMRT), Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy to patients with head and neck cancer. I undertake the delivery of Radioactive iodine ablation and targeted drug therapies for thyroid cancer. I undertake the delivery of radioactive iodine for benign thyroid disease
