Mr Kambiz Hashemi

Mr Hashemi qualified from Birmingham University in 1973 and completed his training at United Birmingham Hospitals where he conducted a study on trauma, leading to an MD Thesis. In 1985 he took up the post of Consultant in Emergency Medicine with an interest in hand surgery, and started the first open acute hand clinic in Surrey. Since then he has been providing a comprehensive service for the acute and chronic upper limb disorders He is a full member of the British as well as European Society for Surgery of the Hand. In addition to his MD, Mr Hashemi has carried out extensive research projects resulting in over 60 publications in scientific medical journals. He was in 1997 in receipt of “Silver Award” in recognition of the service to medicine.
