Mrs Justyna Hustler

Mrs Justyna Hustler is a highly experienced general ophthalmologist with a specialist interest in cataract surgery. She is a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology and a substantive NHS Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Musgrove Park Hospital. Within her NHS role she is also a Cataract Service Lead and Somerset Diabetic Eye Screening Lead. Mrs Hustler undertook the majority of her ophthalmic training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. She subsequently completed a research fellowship in glaucoma in Switzerland, followed by a two-year sub-specialist surgical fellowship in cataract surgery at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Buckinghamshire. With extensive experience in general ophthalmology and cataract surgery, Mrs Hustler offers a comprehensive range of cataract procedures. Her expertise includes the use of toric intraocular lenses for astigmatism correction and extended depth-of-focus (EDOF) lens implants. She also performs laser procedures, including YAG laser capsulotomy. Mrs Hustler is committed to providing high-quality, personalised ophthalmic care. She places particular emphasis on understanding each patient’s individual needs and achieving excellent visual outcomes following cataract surgery. She is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and is a member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) and the United Kingdom and Ireland Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (UKISRS).
