I was born in 1971. I was educated at Magdalen College School Oxford and went onto attend The Combined Medical & Dental School of the Royal London and St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London. I started medical school in 1991, and after an extra years study for a further B.Sc. graduated in 1997. I completed all of my post graduate training posts in the London region. My interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology began at medical school, especially that of pre-malignant disease of the cervix and the management of women with abnormal cervical smear tests. This interest has shaped my entire career. I achieved my Membership of the Royal College of Obstetrician’s & Gynaecologists in 2003, and was elevated to a Fellow of the College, FRCOG, in 2016 in recognition for my contribution to the specialty, specifically in Colposcopy and cervical screening. I spent 10 years as Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Bedford Hospital from 2008-2018. I moved in my NHS practice to Luton & Dunstable Hospital in 2018. I have achieved an international lecturing and clinical reputation in Colposcopy, most specifically the Quality Assurance aspects of delivering a cervical screening service. I sit on the main committee of the national governing body for Colposcopy (BSCCP), and also act as the regional Lead Colposcopist for the East of England Region. I retain a keen interest in postgraduate medical education, and teach on the internationally respected Teale Fenning Medical Education courses. Outside of work I am very happily married and have a daughter. I have varied interests and still continue to play top class amateur league cricket for Ampthill Town Cricket Club and representative cricket for the MCC
