I am a Consultant in Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic Surgery and Burns at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London, UK This is the only Burns department looking after major burns injuries and performing complex burns reconstruction in Greater London. I am the former Lead Clinician of the Burns Unit and Chair of the London and Southeast of England Burns Network. I am the current Chair of the Special Interest and advisory group of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons Prior to this, I was Consultant in Plastic Surgery and Burns at the St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns, Broomfield, Chelmsford, Essex, UK. This unit, part of the London and Southeast of England Burn Network, is also one of the leading Burns Units in the Country. I was a fellow in Adult and Paediatric Burns and Adult and Paediatric Burns Intensive care at the Shriners Hospital in Galveston, Texas, USA. This is one of the busiest and most recognized burns units in the world. My Plastic Surgery training was completed through the Pan Thames Plastic Surgery rotation  I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow in Plastic Surgery and have been entered in the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. I am a member of the British Medical Association, British Burns Association, American Burns Association, and International Society for Burn Injuries. I specialize in all aspects of Plastic, Reconstructive and aesthetic Surgery. My main interest and subspecialty are Burns Surgery, the Plastic Surgery management of difficult and complex wounds and any conditions with extensive skin loss. I am also interested in skin Cancer reconstruction and the reconstruction and management of scars and soft tissue loss either cosmetic or functional of all aetiologies I have presented and published widely in both Plastic Surgery and Burns literature. I have extensive medico-legal experience both as expert witness and as report provider.
