I graduated from Bristol University Medical School in 1991. I spent 2 years in Bristol post qualifying, including a period in the Anatomy Department of the University as demonstrator/prosector. I then completed my surgical training in Manchester, followed by my Higher Surgical Training in Yorkshire. I completed a time of research into gait analysis in children with cerebral palsy as a Wishbone Trust research fellow. I completed a hip fellowship in Leeds. I was appointed as a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at Harrogate District Hospital in 2003, and started to practise at The BMI Duchy Hospital, Harrogate shortly after. I also offer private practice from the Harlow Suite, Harrogate District Hospital. I specialise in treatments of the adult arthritic hip and knee.
