Dr John Luckit was based at the North Middlesex University Hospital, where he was the Lead Clinician in Laboratory Haematology and Chair of the Thrombosis and Haemostasis Committee. He is currently Secretary of the Pathology Council, Royal Society of Medicine (London) and committee member of the Anticoagulation Specialist Association (ASA) Dr Luckit graduated in 1978 with a B.Sc in Basic Medical Science with Haematology from the University of London (St. Mary’s). He then gained an MB BS degree in 1981 from the University of London before gaining a Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) diploma in 1986. Dr Luckit became a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) in 1992.
