Fellowship trained Head & Neck surgeon. NHS practice is based at Leeds General Infirmary where I set up, and have delivered, the Trans-Oral Robotic service since 2017. I am currently the Clinical Lead for the ENT Department, an appraiser for both NHS and independent sector clinicians, and a member of the Medical Advisory Committee at Spire Leeds Hospital. Research interests include voice analysis for early detection of laryngeal cancer, radiomics within staging of oropharyngeal malignancy and the symptomology of urgent suspected cancer referrals from Primary Care. For appropriate patients I deliver cancer care through both the Head & Neck, and, Thyroid Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs), as well as delivering a wide range of treatments for general Ear, Nose and Throat conditions for adult and paediatric patients.

Special clinical interests
Main area of NHS work is Head & Neck Surgical Oncology, including surgical management of thyroid disease, parathyroid disease and salivary gland surgery. General ENT treatments include tonsillectomy, tongue tie release (frenulotomy for ankyloglossia), septoplasty, sinus surgery, adenoidectomy, grommet insertion.
