Mr Jeremy Nettleton is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with specialist expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate conditions. He completed his medical training at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London, followed by higher surgical training in London and the South West of England. He became the first Chief Resident at the Bristol Urological Institute, where he also undertook a fellowship in renal surgery and endourology. Mr Nettleton joined Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in October 2020. He has just finished his tenure of Clinical Lead. He has played a key role in advancing the service, leading successful bids for two Da Vinci robotic surgical systems and a fixed-site lithotripter, and overseeing the development of a new Urology Investigations Unit. He has also led on the acquisition of state of the art equipment aiding day case pathways for transurethral resection of the prostate and bladder (TURP). Mr Nettleton has completed the first aquablation cases in both the private (Winfield Hospital) and NHS (Cheltenham General Hospital) in the South West of England/ Midlands. He is recognised as a key opinion leader in this field has completed over 250 cases. Mr Nettleton has a high volume practice with excellent outcomes and outstanding patient feedback. He has hosted over 50 visiting Consultants this year at the Cheltenham Reference Centre and regular talks at international and national events. He offers a similar education and training programme for transurethral resection of the prostate.
