Dr Jeremy Axon

I trained at the Charing cross Hospital between 1979-1984 which is now part of the Imperial College Trust. I gained my MCRP in 1987. My training in Rheumatology included Registrar years at St Bartholomew`s Hospital, London followed by three years at the Nuffield Orthopaedic centre, Oxford. In 1994, I was appointment Rheumatology Consultant at Welwyn Garden City where I continue to work. My main interests outside medicine include all the sports especially tennis, cricket, golf and sailing

I am a consultant Rheumatologist working in a busy General Hospital in Hertfordshire since 1994. My interests include sports injuries, pain syndromes (including Fibromyalgia), Rheumatoid arthritis and other similar inflammatory conditions, osteoporosis as well as the autoimmune spectrum of conditions. I am also interested in Medico Legal work and in particular Negligence cases. I will attend court when needed.
