Mr Javier Moraleda Deleito

Mr Moraleda is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon at University Hospital Lewisham in South East London. Mr Moraleda has a specialist interest in ear and balance disorders. He has completed two prestigious fellowships in advanced ear & skull base surgery at Guy’s Hospital London and He has had further international training in several tertiary centres including Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Mr Moraleda offers a specialist bespoke service for patients with dizziness and vertigo working closely with colleagues in audio-vestibular medicine allowing rapid diagnosis of balance disorder and provision of vestibular rehabilitation He has extensive experience in minimally invasive endoscopic ear surgery which can allow for incisionless surgery in many cases.. His surgical cases include the management of chronic ear disease and middle ear reconstruction including otosclerosis. Mr Moraleda is keen to adopt innovative techniques in ear surgery and has a well established practice in Eustachian Tube dilation. Mr Moraleda has strong interest in ear research , with a PhD in stem cell research of the middle ear. He has lectured and published extensively in the peer reviewed literature
