Mr On specialises in the management of colorectal cancers and complex polyps, offering robotic, laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical options that aim to reduce recovery times and improve outcomes. He was selected and completed the highly competitive and prestigious Northern Laparoscopic Colorectal Fellowship at Newcastle and Nottingham where he honed his proficiency in minimally invasive colorectal surgery. His proficiency also extends to diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy including polypectomy and endoscopic submucosal dissection (EMR). He also offers the Transanal Minimally Invasive Surgery (TAMIS) approach for rectal polyps. His other interests includes the management of non-cancerous bowel conditions such as diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease and benign proctology including haemorrhoids, anal fissures and perianal fistulas. He also offers surgical treatments for abdominal wall and groin hernias and the removal of benign lumps.
