Mr Jason Fleming

Mr. Jason Fleming is a USA fellowship-trained academic surgeon, working in the NHS as a Consultant ENT/Head and Neck Surgeon at the Liverpool Head and Neck Centre and is recognised as a leading international expert in cancers of the head and neck and has over 17 years of experience in this specialty. His private practice is run from The Sefton Suite at Aintree University Hospital, Spire Murrayfield Hospital Wirral and Clatterbridge Private Clinic. He specialises in all aspects of head and neck/thyroid surgery, and regularly receives tertiary referrals from a wide catchment area in the North West for complex benign and malignant conditions. His clinical practice is primarily for adults with suspected or confirmed head and neck cancer, neck lumps, thyroid/parathyroid disease, salivary gland disorders, airway/voice issues and sleep apnoea. He also accepts referrals for patients with a confirmed diagnosis of cancer from the UK or abroad, who require surgical oncology treatment, and wish a second opinion outside of the NHS. He works closely with oncology colleagues to provide a fully comprehensive multidisciplinary head and neck service and is able to link with the regional Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) run out of Aintree University Hospital to ensure rapid cancer diagnostics and world-class care. He is the first head and neck surgeon in Europe to have performed cancer resections through the mouth on the new Da Vinci Single Port (SP) robotic platform, as featured on ITV News, and travels to major hospitals around Europe to train other surgeons in its use.
