This information is provided by Dr James Gamble.
GMC reg: 6128233I trained in Cambridge and Oxford predominantly. I have been a consultant since 2017 and working as a specialist in cardiology since 2009. My NHS work is based at the Oxford Heart Centre in the John Radcliffe Hospital, part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I undertook a doctorate of medicine research degree in Oxford, on cardiac resynchronisation therapy as a treatment for heart failure. My research interests are still in cardiac resynchronisation therapy and related technologies, as well as in how best to treat heart failure. I have published more than 30 papers and conference abstracts in this area. I see private patients predominantly at the Nuffield Health Manor Hospital, Oxford.

Cardiology - Heart Failure • Cardiology - Pacemakers & Cardiac Devices
I see patients with all heart problems. I have a specialist interest and knowledge in treating patients with heart failure. I see a high volume of patients with this problem in my NHS practice and am experienced and knowledgeable in treating it. I aimed to try and help you maximise your quality of life with this serious disease. I also particularly specialise in the implantation and management of pacemakers and related devices such as implantable defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation therapy. In my NHS practice I implant more of these devices than any other local consultants.
