Mr James Donaldson

Mr James Donaldson is a well respected Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with HCA Healthcare. He is based at The Wellington Hospital and The Wellington Hospital Elstree Waterfront along with an NHS Consultant post at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. His subspecialties include hip and knee issues and he offers a first-class service in arthroscopy, replacement and revision surgeries. He began his career at the renowned University College London where he graduated with a Medical Degree in 2002. Following this, he completed an extensive rotational training scheme in his chosen career of orthopaedics, including a post at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He completed his training in 2012, however, he chose to complete two specialist fellowships, including a year in Toronto before taking up a Consultant Post. Mr Donaldson has a keen interest in medical education and has co-authored a website for healthcare professionals and regularly teaches on courses at a national level.
