Dr James Briggs

Dr Briggs is a consultant interventional and diagnostic radiologist working in Berkshire and London. Having been awarded a first class degree in Physics from University College London, he subsequently qualified in medicine in 2007. After training in medicine in Oxford, he undertook specialist training in clinical radiology before fellowship training in interventional radiology, becoming one of the first specialists to receive a certificate of completion of specialist training (CCT) in clinical radiology, and also achieve certification of sub-specialty training in interventional radiology. Dr Briggs has a wide range of experience within interventional radiology, specialising in the field of embolisation therapy. Dr Briggs also has an extensive diagnostic radiology practice specialising in cardiovascular and thoracic imaging, including coronary artery disease, lung cancer and interstitial lung disease.
