Dr Jaishree Bhosle

I am a Consultant Medical Oncologist specialising in the treatment of thoracic cancers including lung cancer and mesothelioma. I qualified from the University of Leicester in 2000, and undertook general medical training at University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust. I moved to London in 2006 and undertook laboratory-based research at University College London and was awarded a PhD in 2012. My research focused on the modulation of DNA damage and repair by epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors.   I completed Oncology specialist training at The Royal Marsden, having previously undertaken rotation at The Christie Hospital in Manchester, Leeds and Hull. I was appointed as a Consultant Medical Oncologist in 2011 at The Royal Marsden and provided acute oncology services to Epsom and St Helier Hospital until 2023.

Treatment of thoracic cancer-lung cancer and mesothelioma with systemic anti-cancer therapy, including targeted therapies and immunotherapy.
