Mr Ivan Tomasi

Mr. Ivan Tomasi is an accomplished Emergency General Surgery Consultant. He graduated from Medical School in 2000 and subsequently completed his surgical training with honors at the School of General Surgery at Verona University in Italy in 2006.  Following this, Mr. Tomasi gained valuable experience as a Colo-rectal Senior Clinical Fellow at Barts London. He then served as a Locum Consultant in Emergency Surgery with a sub-specialty in Colorectal surgery at Rotherham and Watford. In 2015, Mr. Tomasi became a Consultant in Emergency General Surgery at Guy's and St Thomas Hospital in London.  He is involved in Medical Education as Foundation programme director and Lead for Sepsis/Infection control in General Surgery Throughout his career, Mr. Tomasi has contributed to the medical field by publishing scientific articles and delivering numerous presentations at both national and international conferences, with a focus on oncological markers and the treatment of conditions like hemorrhoids. He is also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at King's College London.

Mr. Tomasi's elective practice focuses around a range of surgical procedures, including abdominal-inguinal hernia repair, proctology (addressing conditions like haemorrhoids, anal fissure, fistula-in ano, pilonidal sinus), AWR (Abdominal Wall Reconstruction) for complex ventral hernias, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and the removal of lumps and bumps.
