Dr Isaac Opemuyi

I am a consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician and I retired from the NHS in May 2023 after 39 years of glorious service. I have over 40 years experience in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. My initial training was in Nigeria and my postgraduate training was across the three countries of Wales, Scotland and England. I have a wide range of experience and knowledge, but above all, I have a commitment to provide excellent quality patient-centred care. I am revalidated by the GMC until 2028. I am actively involved in the Royal College of Gynaecologist and Obstetrician Continuous Personal Development.

I treat general gynaecological conditions but I have a special interest in advanced non-invasive hysteroscopic surgery for fibroids as well as myomectomy for removal of large fibroids. I also specialise in the management of recurrent miscarriage and unusual ectopic pregnancies. In addition I offer various procedures including laparoscopic removal of ovarian cysts, laparoscopic treatment of pelvic pain and endometriosis, Novasure endometrial ablation for heavy painful periods, Myosure removal of endometrial polyps and fibroids as well as abdominal hysterectomy for various indications.
