Mr Hill, Chris

Mr Chris Hill FRCS (Plast.) is a highly respected Consultant Plastic Surgeon with over 30 years of experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. Semi-retired from the NHS, he was the lead surgeon for cleft lip and palate services in Northern Ireland for more than 20 years, where he made a lasting impact on the care of children and adults with congenital facial differences. Throughout his NHS career, Mr Hill has also been an assigned Education Supervisor, responsible for training Plastic Surgery Registrars in Northern Ireland, and he continues to be actively involved in undergraduate medical education. In addition to his NHS work, Mr Hill has dedicated over 14 years to visiting a specialist cleft hospital in Pakistan, supporting the work of The Overseas Plastic Surgery Appeal (OPSA). Through these visits, he has helped deliver vital surgical care and has been actively involved in training and mentoring local surgeons, contributing to the long-term sustainability of cleft care in the region. Mr Hill is a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), UKAAPS/CAPSCO, and is a former council member and Chairman of the BAPRAS Communications Committee. With over 30 peer-reviewed journal publications and a book chapter to his name, Mr Hill is recognised for his academic contributions as well as his surgical expertise. He is currently in private practice, offering a wide range of procedures including abdominoplasty, rhinoplasty, gynaecomastia surgery, blepharoplasty, breast augmentation, breast reduction, mastopexy and skin cancer removal. Known for a meticulous approach and dedication to patient care, Mr Hill continues to uphold the highest standards of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
