Mr Hemanth Kumar Venkatesh

I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon and completed higher specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics and was awarded Diplomate National Board (DNB) T&O from India and awarded FRCS Edin T&O from RCS UK. I was awarded CCT in T&O from RCS UK after the completion of training. In Trauma & Orthopaedics. I completed a research degree from Teesside University and was awarded MCh Orthopaedics. I completed the MTI Royal college of Surgeons Knee fellowship and Lower Limb Arthroplasty Fellowship at Basildon &Thurrock University Hospital. I completed a prestigious BOA fellowship in leadership and management in 2016 and was involved in service improvement and quality improvement projects in NHS UK.  I was involved in multicentre clinical research trials as a researcher -TOP KAT RCT, and ABICUS RCT. I have published in peer-reviewed journals and presented in national and international conferences. I am also a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals. I was associated with Peninsula Medical school as an honorary Lecturer/ University fellow and teach medical students from 3rd year to final year. I was also actively involved in training the trainee registrars and speciality registrars.

I am interested in robotic Joint replacement surgery of Hip & Knee Joints. and Joint preservation surgery and regenerative medicine.
