I have worked as an NHS Consultant in Pain Medicine until 2024. My NHS practice was based in Hampshire in the Community Trust (Southern Health formerly, now HIOW Healthcare FT), and also at University Hospital Southampton, as part of the neuromodulation team. I also held various senior leadership positions in both the Trusts above, the last before my retirement from the NHS at the end of 2024 was as Chief Medical Officer for Professional Standards, and Responsible Officer at HIOW Healthcare NHS Trust. I still provide the NHS with some medical appraisals. I now practice privately only, based at the Spire Southampton Hospital, and Nuffield Wessex Health Hospital. I prefer face to face consultations for all new patients, but am willing to offer remote consultations if appropriate for follow-up appointments. I am a member of the Spinal MDT in the Spinal Pathway, at the Wessex Nuffield Health Hospital. I work closely with colleagues in surgery, neuromodulation, physiotherapy, other medical specialties and clinical psychology. I provide interventional procedures at the Spire Hospital in Southampton.
