GMC reg: 6117239Dr Mellor is the Clinical Lead for Heart Rhythm Management and Inherited Cardiac Conditions at Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, UK. He has been a consultant cardiac electrophysiologist since 2017 having trained in Cambridge, London and Vancouver Canada previously. Dr Mellor treats the the full range of heart rhythm conditions including atrial fibrillation, SVT and slow heart rhythms. He performs a wide variety of Cather ablation procedures and implantable cardiac device procedures such as pacemakers and defibrillators. In addition, Dr Mellor has particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of inhertied arrhythmia syndromes, the assessment of risks of sudden cardiac death. This includes specific experience in cardiac screening in amateur and elite athletes as well as the assessment of symptoms in athletic individuals
