This information is provided by Mr Graham Cheung.
GMC reg: 4622503I'm a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Liverpool University Teaching Hospitals, where I specialise in hand and wrist surgery. I'm also an honorary senior lecturer at Edge Hill University. As well as treating nerve compressions, arthritis, wrist injuries and tendon disorders, I have a specialist interest in treating people who have been affected by neuromuscular disorders that have affected their hand and wrists. These include cerebral palsy, head injury and strokes.I also offer minimally invasive procedures such as endoscopic (keyhole) carpal tunnel decompression (privately). This technique offers a quicker recovery and return to full function.Being a keen and enthusiastic teacher, I'm regularly invited to teach on courses for senior registrar trainees coming up to their consultant exams on courses at Wrightington, Oswestry and within the Mersey region. I'm an examiner and tutor for the hand diploma and was appointed as an honorary senior lecturer in recognition for my work as part of the faculty for the MCh Orth course.
